National Voices is an umbrella body of voluntary sector organisations that operate in England. It ensures that the needs and preferences of those affected by government health and social care policy are given full weight in its development and implementation.

National Voices’ aims and values:

• Influencing health and social care policy from conception to implementation
• Bridging the gap between people’s experiences and policy
• Strengthening the voice of national voluntary organisations, large and small
• Reflecting the diversity of service users and the diversity of their needs
• Working with regulators, professions, government and parliament
• Campaigning on behalf of patients, carers and service users.
